BECOME A CREDIT UNION MEMBER​

To become a credit union member, you need to live, study or work in a common bond. Find your local Credit Union on our map
Once you know which credit union you are eligible to join you will need the following

Proof of ID

A current, valid Passport/ current valid Drivers’ Licence.

Proof of Address

i.e. A utility bill or bank statement dated within in the last three

PPS Number

Your P.P.S. number on an official document

Three forms of identification are required in order to comply with the Money Laundering Act 1994, Criminal Justice Act 2010 as amended 2013 relating to all financial institutions.

Loans are insured by the credit union’s own policy at no direct cost to you. This is designed to pay off a loan in the event of a borrower’s death – subject to terms, conditions and eligibility criteria.​
